Welcome :D

Let me show you some of my 4koma (about my life with cats).
Nao-p is my nick name my friend Mami Tachibana gave me. And I call her Mami-p. Of course it comes from Wedding Peach "Momo-p". No one calls me by the name except for her, but I love the 4 koma cartoon "Go Go Momo-pi (Gan-bare Momo-p)"(In the paperbacks) so I use it. :)
Oh, I'm a manga artist Nao Yazawa, and author of Wedding Peach, by the way. :)

These "comic strips" come from my 4-koma blog (in Japanese). You can see all of them in original here. If you have a request which 4koma will be next, tell me. :D

Afterward 2

This is the conclusion of Afterword. or the punchline.
I thought about A5sized Dojin book or web-manga at that time.

Anyway, I've had all the scanned data and retouch now.
 (They are 101or 102% big the standard -.-|||) .

Afterwoard

Wordy...><;;
I draw this 4koma ages ago...around Oct. 2010

Because it has been decided the work Shinku Chitai is published digitally
by DMG(Digital Manga Guild) now , I put it in English.

What I'm doing now is paste the scanned data on Manga Studio files and give some adjustment, such as erasing dirt, Japanese dialogues, add the center line so on...

IT IS BORING WORK.

Manga Class in G+ Hangouts

A trial manga class(how to draw) was held on May. 22
It was on G+hangout on air and the video was uploaded Youtube. (see the bottom)

Manga School Nakano (located in Nakano, Tokyo/it has no English page at the moment- sorry) is planning how to draw manga classes for non-Japanese speaker at the moment.

I (Nao Yazawa, Manga artist) am supposed to be the teacher when the plan comes true. (if the business get a big success, it would be possible the school has more teachers with interpreters, and the class would be available in some languages. But at this point, there is no choice - just in English, and I)

We are also considering the possibility of on-line classes. Very a few can come to Japan for ONLY learning manga, but there are many people who want to learn in the world.  We have nice IT technology nowadays which allows you a lot. So- why don't you take it? I'd like to do. So I do.

This is seconds trial of the class (and 1st On Air). Still I'm researching what I can do.

There are some problems you can't avoid - like PC trouble(Manga Studio is rather heavy program, freezing sometimes), the time lag (depends on your environment?) I wonder if there are any good solutions.
I have to do by myself at the moment (because it is a personal trial).  But if I could have a camera crew from the school, it would be possible you have an actual drawing class.

If there is something you found out, share it with me, let me know your thought. To make better this attempt. :D Comment, or post/send message on the FB page.
Thank you!

* My preparation would not be enough, yes, including the English skill - but you have to handle things what you have. XD If you waited for "the arrival of perfect preparation", you could never start, I think...

Some drawings I did in the video are posted MSN's FB page.

Some of the drawings I showed in this video(like this thumbnail) comes from my work for Chis Hart's how to draw manga books. (illustrations) If you like it, check them.
